​This chart displays the total number of building permits issued per year for new housing units, from 1990 to 2011. Data is presented for each of the six counties within the SCAG region (Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura) and the region as a whole.

​This chart displays total taxable sales per year for each of the six counties within the SCAG region (Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura) as well as the combined total for the entire region, from 1990 to 2011.

This chart displays total industry jobs per year for each of the six counties within the SCAG region (Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura) as well as the entire region, from 1990 to 2012. Please note that industry employment reflects the number of wage and salary workers. Business owners, self-employed, unpaid family workers and private household workers were not included in the data.

​This chart shows the value (in millions of dollars) of exports and imports travelling through the Los Angeles Customs District annually. The Los Angeles Customs District includes the seaports of Hueneme, Long Beach and Los Angeles, Los Angeles International Airport, McCarran Field in Las Vegas and Ontario International Airport.
